Costa Rica certainly does not have any shortage of beyond stunning wedding venues. From the jungles of the Osa Peninsula to the jaw dropping views of Manuel Antonio to the world renowned beaches of Santa Teresa and let’s not forget breathtaking Arenal complete with volcano at your doorstep – Costa Rica as a destination wedding spot is truly top notch.

A true favourite of destination bound brides is Zephyr Palace at Villa Caletas. It is only about an hour or so from the San Jose airport. The views are magical and they make a pretty mean cocktail. It is always such a treat when Junebug Weddings features one of our Costa Rica destination weddings on their amazing blog. So we were super thrilled when they selected Emma & David’s Zephyr Palace wedding to share with their readers.

Larissa Banting of Weddings Costa Rica (who is also an A-List wedding planner with Destination Weddings & Honeymoons magazine) – created a beautiful wedding that was the perfect blend of modernism and heritage. The couple got married on the last day of Chanukah and had a truly beautiful Jewish ceremony.  It was really stunning and I may have weeped behind my camera during the vows. But I will never tell! They had one of the most unique wedding cakes we have ever seen too. Click through on the link below here to check it out.

Thank you Junebug Weddings for such a gorgeous feature of Emma & David’s Zephyr Palace wedding in Costa Rica!

I am pretty darn sure Yaryna & Jason are the epitome of chic. Their oh so rad city cool wedding at the oh so perfect Burroughes Building in Toronto was just featured on Style Me Pretty Canada. The Burroughes Building might just be one of the coolest wedding locations in the heart of Toronto. Love. The exposed brick wall and industrial feel was the perfect choice for this city loving couple. Right in downtown Toronto.

Jason & Yaryna are a super fun couple and have an impeccable design aesthetic. The groom is a graphic designer and well he looks pretty darn awesome in his bespoke tuxedo. Yaryna looked beyond amazing in a drop dead gorgeously perfect dress from Caroline Herrera. Her oh-so-bang on hair and that perfect red pout were the perfect accessories. Thanks to uber rad makeup genius Lucky Bromhead (who also does makeup for MTV Canada). She even parked her sweet baby blue Vespa outside where we could not resist taking some snaps with the bride. The couple adore their big city of Toronto – so dressed to the nines, they opted to wait for the streetcar and take public transit to their wedding. We kinda dig them for that. The pops of yellow with the balloons, the bridesmaids shoes, the fun “yeah” sticks, the groom’s socks and even their beloved dog’s bowtie added that sense of “je ne sais quoi”.
