My goodness where do I even start to describe Jennifer & Jean-Pierre’s amazing wedding in Costa Rica at Cala Luna. These two lovebirds live in one of the coolest cities Austin, Texas. And their destination wedding in Playa Langosta was filled to the brim with love, laugher, tears of joy and awesomeness, lots and lots of awesomeness.

Jennifer works in PR and Jean-Pierre is an architect – so it was no surprise that his ring was designed by world renowned architect Frank Gehry for Tiffany. We heart that since Mr. Gehry is also a fellow Canadian from Toronto. And his ring design was just as cool as his buildings.

The always rad Costa Rica wedding planners/designers at Four Winds Weddings created a beautiful beach ceremony and reception. Not to mention that they literally made from scratch that uber fun “Love” sign with lights you see in the images above. Talk about full service wedding planning. It was such a great touch and really embodied what Jennifer & Jean-Pierre’s big day was all about. You can literally see the love beaming out of the two of them from their first look to their I do’s on the beach to their first dance.

The dance party that ensued was complete with hijinx, singing their faces off to “Blurred Lines”  & even an impromptu guest doing “the worm”. Listen who says 35 guests can’t rock a reception.

Wedding Photographer Chicago: Absolutely amazing work.. You're an inspiration.

Peggy Center: How the black and whites along with the others!! You both looked beautiful and this was the perfect wedding!! May you always remain in one another's love and you, Memaw

Mari Trou: Oh my God these pics are amazing! Thank you guys. What a nice job! I'm melted into tears once again! Love will keep them together forever and ever. Mami

Jennifer Trou: These are so, so, so amazing! We laughed and cried all over again looking at these. It was such an incredible day and we're so blessed you guys were there with us to capture all of the amazingness. Thank you, thank you!

Maybe it’s because Maura and I both have the same star tattoo on our foot or because she has a penchant for amazing hair accoutrement or because Dan could quite possibly pass for Jake & Maggie Gyllenhaal’s long lost brother but we mega-hearted being able to capture all the fun of their big day in sunny Costa Rica.

Many couples ask us about great places in Costa Rica to have their wedding – well the sun, beach and fabulosity of Langosta Beach Club is pretty spectacular. Wedding Planning was done by Maria Roldan. Maura & Dan had their ceremony on the beach with the sand in their toes and then their reception was by the pool overlooking the ocean. And with Tamarindo just a few minutes away, there is a whole town of surf and restaurants to keep your guests entertained while they are down here.

The bride & groom opted to do a first look – and we will never forget the expression on their faces when they first laid eyes on each other. It was Master Card priceless.

And although there was no sighting of the Gyllenhaals at Maura & Dan’s destination wedding – they certainly missed out on a killer wedding celebration.
