Hello and welcome to our blog.
Destination wedding photography is what
we do, and here you’ll find information on all
of our most recent shoots, as well as all
sorts of other weird and wonderful weddingy
things…..cool venues, great invite design,
bridal fashion links etc, etc. What you won’t
find are tacky pics, tacky links, tacky this and
tacky that. No tacky photos taken by
tacky photographers of brides sitting in
front of tacky fountains. Yep, this blog is
100% fountain-free, so if they’re the kind
of photos you like, please look away now…

Mary Pat & Dave are kinda the raddest of the rad. And not just because their very names – make it sound like they are in an underground folk band that only the cool kids know about. They do actually know their way around a banjo. These two are good eggs. The best eggs.

They chose the one and only Cambium Farms in Caledon for their big day. Less than an hour from Toronto and boom you are transplanted to a place where it just couldn’t get any lovelier. The couple had a sweet outdoor ceremony amongst the tall trees and a fun cocktail shindig before heading inside to the beyond spectacular barn. When you think barn wedding – you picture this spot. The folks at Cambium Farms really and truly did a spectacular job of creating such a marvellous and magnificent space. Check out here another wedding we shot at the barn to see more of this great spot – it was also featured in WeddingBells magazine and on Wedding Obsession’s blog.

Crystal Adair-Benning – wedding planner of epic proportions at Distinct Occasions –  rocked the barn vibe perfectly. Since Mary Pat & Dave are quite the creative duo (they are graphic designers)- they made tons and tons of fun and whimsical pins for all their guests. The whole day had their signature awesomeness written all over it.

Mary Pat & Dave – if you two do decide to start up a band – I will be first in line to buy a ticket and I know that all your band gear will hands down be the coolest and most awesomely designed. The photo of the two of you wearing the heart shaped glasses in the barn will of course be your album cover – natch. So move over Mumford & Sons – and make way for Mary Pat & Dave.

Hands down the most whimsical of wine country weddings we have ever had the pleasure to shoot. Cave Spring and the Inn on the Twenty were the backdrops for all this loveliness. Miranda & Jonathan’s vision brought to life by the mad hatter genius wedding planner that is Crystal Adair-Benning of Distinct Occasions.

The insanely amazing decor of red and pink and black and white – all tied together in a giant bow of ridiculously rad. I mean can we just take a moment to slow clap for the red chivari chairs. The florals alone put any Kardashian wedding to shame – flowers were done by Stemz. The black and white stripped candles – I bow down before them in awe.

The truth is there were so many incredible details and decor items (including a candy tree!) – that Pinterest would likely self destruct with all the inspiration ideas. We would have loved to showcase the million and one images but the awesome folks over at Vineyard Bride – actually did a most marvellous job of featuring all the delightful deets. You can check out their Inn on the Twenty wedding feature here.

We are lucky enough to now call the Niagara wine country region home. We moved here last summer and love being amongst the vineyards and wineries and wonderfulness. Looking forward to many more weddings in wine country – bring on the summer season!
